A multimedia network for Audio, video and Internet requires a stable connection. Optical network technologies are known as most stable, safe and reliable.

In the context of retrofitting and renovation of apartment houses, multi-dwelling units, hotels or private homes the electrical installation will often be partly fixed. That means on/off switches, wall outlets will be renewed and changed.

WLAN is going to get more and more common and popular. Sadly we don’t have the same stable connection as we would have with cables. The speed is going up and down and the distance is limited. In bigger buildings with more floors the bandwidth is decreasing rapidly, because the signal is loosing its strength through walls. So we want to use the benefits of POF and WLAN.
