  • Currrently 1 GB was demonstrated in prototypes for SI-POF within R&D settings and there are explorations ongoing within EU-FP7 R&D Projects (ALPHA, POF-PLUS) to identify the optimal (economic/technical) modulization technique for 1 GB data transmission over SI-POF. We are one of the members in the ALPHA project.
  • We think that within 2 Years (End 2009 / Beginn 2010) first prototypes for field- or beta Tests should be available. Till End 2010 first products should be available.
